Introduction
Folks, we are living in strange times. Here in the US, things haven’t been quite this divided in a long time. Right vs. Left, Blue vs. Red. There seems to no longer be a shade of purple. For a long time, you could claim to be a Democrat or a Republican, and still be more of a Centrist. It seems, at least for the time being, those times are far removed. There hasn’t been anyone as polarizing in recent years such as Donald Trump (Read his chart reading here, Trump’s typing video here, and his Birthchart reading video here.) but we might have an up and comer. Many see the man as a genius, and others – a complete ass. Join me as we take the time to examine the chart of the richest man in history – Elon Musk.
Born in Pretoria, South Africa on June 28th, 1971, at the given time in his biography of 7:30am. Musk, much like Daddy Trump, was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Musk’s biological father, Errol Musk, was co-owner of an emerald mine, which was a contributing factor to Musk’s undeniable success. In order to avoid the mandatory military enlistment that South Africa has in place, Musk soon then immigrated to Canada, and eventually became an American citizen in 2002. One of Musk’s first of many success stories was the invention of PayPal, which he co-created. PayPal was soon sold to eBay, and this is where Musk then began to amass his fortune along with an eclectic bunch of business ventures.
Though many give Musk credit for founding Tesla, Elon was in fact an early investor, and eventually became CEO in 2008. Besides SpaceX, which Musk invested in after the sale of PayPal, Tesla has been a huge money-maker for our South African f(r)iend. Many other ventures followed, such as the Boring Company, and the buy out of Twitter. Musk’s level of wealth has greatly fluctuated over the years. Recently, with the backlash of the pseudo assignment of being appointed head of DOGE, Musk has done much more than ruffled a few feathers. The Social Terrorists of the far left have been vandalizing, and out right destroying Tesla vehicles. Protests have amassed nationwide at Tesla Dealerships and just about everywhere else. This resulted in Musk’s 300 billion+ net worth plummeting, only to recover once again within a matter of days!
Over the years, Musk has been all over the board political wise. Elon has been noted to have been more of a centrist, supporting both the Democratic and Republican Party. More recently, of course, Musk has been a keen supporter of the MAGA Troupe and Team Trump. Musk seemingly started out with good intentions. Being an early proponent of Tesla, Musk seemed to have an agenda beyond becoming filthy rich. Musk genuinely seemed to have wanted to make the world a greener, more hospitable place. Many claim that his intentions are still pure. Others seem to think he is supporting our Orange Antagonist for the means of accumulating even more wealth beyond what Musk has already obtained which is already egregious. A large proportion of folks see Musk as a genius, and a revolutionary. Others see a narcissist, galivanting in the limelight as he has turned the American Dream of many into a nightmare with mass layoffs and lost pensions.
A Supposed Empathetic Sun?
If you are old enough to remember thumbing through the large bulky pages of newspapers reading the horoscopes of the week, you might conclude that having a Cancerian Sun as someone who is the epitome of empathy. Through closer examination, you can see that Elon Musk indeed has his Sun in Cancer, however it's in the convoluted Twelfth House. Recently, Musk has been scrutinized for stating “The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy.” This tactic is a tool conveniently used by both sides of the political spectrum. With the powerful wonders of editing, people take tidbits of what people say and blow it out of proportion. Elon Musk was having a discussion with Joe Rogan about how empathy has been weaponized, namely by the left. People aren’t safe to say anything without political enemies taking it out of context But words only go so far. What about the actions of the Muskrat?
Though not officially a part of the Trump Administration, Musk has seemed to have taken glee in ruining the lives of many Americans. The strategy seems to have been taken out of the Libertarian playbook of taking Federal Government run positions, dismantling them, and replacing them with a private sector of the workforce. In theory, this would alleviate the burden of tax payers cutting unnecessary positions, and eventually replacing them with the free market where citizens can step in and fill that spot in a more capitalistic sense. I would have to argue the fact that the government is not even remotely efficient, but I doubt the richest man in history, who has never experienced poverty, can empathize with the common person losing their job and retirement only to look down the barrel of old age without an egg to nest.
To avoid going off too far on a tangent, Musk has very publicly stated that he is afflicted with Asperger’s Syndrome, which has been deemed defunct by clinical Psychology, and lumped into the Autism Spectrum. I’m not here to scrutinize the man for self-diagnosing, as it’s essentially what I have done, my point being that people view Musk with lacking empathy, but people on the spectrum, simply struggle with knowing when to utilize empathy. Having emotional Cancer residing in the Twelfth House would hinder someone’s ability to properly empathize with others. While I personally think what Musk has done with DOGE is untasteful and lacking tact, he might not fully be aware of how cruel these actions might be. The Twelfth House is notorious for glamouring reality and making it something different then what it seems. Not far off conjoining the Ascendant lies talkative Mercury, laying in watery Cancer that does more feeling than talking. Is Empathy the Weakness of Elon Musk?
Together, forming this stellium of the Sun, Ascendant, and Mercury, should show someone who needs to learn lessons of compassion and tenderness, Musk’s INTP, and autistic traits seem to be creating barriers. One notable barrier is the square this stellium is forming to Chiron in Fiery Aries in the Ninth House of all that foreign. You know what else is foreign? Elon Musk! You know who else Elon Musk is damaging? Foreigners! Immigration has been a hot button topic for decades. Working in an ICE Detention Center in the past, I have first hand experience that people who immigrate to the United States are a mixed bag. The facility that I worked at housed roughly 95% felons that committed crimes on US soil, and were awaiting trial for possible deportation after serving their prison sentence. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of hard-working people that cross our border daily that just want ample opportunities and better lives for their families that we enjoy. One would think that someone who immigrated to the US himself seeking similar opportunities would have more affinity towards his peers.
The Left went overboard and squandered billions of tax dollars allowing anyone and everyone in the United States. Driving through Border Patrol Stations that once filtered not only illegal immigrants, but dangerous things such as drugs and weapons were left barren. The Right turned right around and took things to the polar opposite. Trump, along with Musk, uprooted law-abiding people and dismantled their lives, hopes, and dreams, sending them back to the environment that they were trying to escape. The political Milieu has just become a pissing contest between the Right and the Left, and the best interest of not only American Citizens, but the entire World has been completely diminished. Somewhere deep down, Elon Musk has a wound surrounding asserting himself with elements that is foreign. Perhaps that is some undisclosed incident that took place overseas that chronicles Musk in a negative sense?
Elon Musk Hates Immigrants?
With Chiron squaring his should-be empathic arrangement of the Sun, Ascendant, and Mercury, Musk should take more care with those who lost the birthday lottery, and weren’t as fortunate as himself. Chiron is not the only thing to square this stellium, let’s take a look at Musk’s Uranian Third House as well. One notable trait that people love to debate is the intelligence of the Tesla forerunner. Some claim Musk to be a super-genius on par with Albert Einstein, others state that Musk may hover with an IQ of around 120. Though his IQ hasn’t been officially tested to my knowledge, someone with Uranus in the House of Intelligence shouldn’t be a slouch when it comes to wits. Not only is Uranus in the Third House, it also resides in relational Libra. On paper, someone with this placement should come up with innovative ideas that propel mankind forward. Another take is someone who defies laws and boundaries and takes things to a new level. This super-charged Uranus forms an opposition to Chiron, completing a T-square with the Cancer stellium we mentioned before. It seems that Musk may put his foot into his mouth and this can cause not only problems for him, but others as well.
Elon Musk’s Superficial Moon
While we’re on the subject of empathy, let’s take a look at the ruler of Cancer and Musk's Ascendant, the Moon. For Musk, Luna lies in the Second House of finance in Virgo. This would indicate Musk having a need to indulge and enjoy the finer things in life seeing that the Second House rules money and resources. With the Moon falling in an Earth sign, this furthers the need for financial abundance. Another commonality that I am starting to see with INTPs is a Virgo Moon is starting to form a pattern. Virgo Moon’s are often picky and finicky, and this can corroborate with Si Child. Forming a Sextile to the Sun, Mercury, and Rising sign, though Musk has been stirring the shit pot a lot lately, more peaceful resolutions with peers might be more beneficial. However, Mercury is now to be mischievous, fully embracing the Trickster Archetype.
Speaking of earning money and accumulating wealth, The Virgonian Moon forms a square to studious Saturn which lies in Gemini just over the cusp of the House of Community. Musk is known to be a workaholic and has a reputation for being a micromanager. Musk’s love for money drives him to work himself to the bone, and to take others for the ride. Having Saturn in multi-dimensional Gemini explains Musk’s need to have his finger in more than one pie. Musk has several projects that run simultaneously and doesn’t seem to focus on a single venture. While Saturn is the planet of practicality, it makes an opposition to the dreamer planets both in retrograde, Neptune and Jupiter, which form a conjunction together in the Fifth House.
Another complaint that many have with the South African is that he is often quite unpractical. Engineers have been on record stating that Musk often spews out outrageous ideas that would be impossible to manifest in the physical realm. They often sift through what can be done and what can’t, and I’m sure they get right to work trying to accomplish the task at hand. Speaking of impractical, one of the major pipe dreams that Musk has is to not only reach Mars through space travel, but to colonize Martian soil as well. We must keep in mind that Mars is colder than Antarctica, and inhabits the most violent of storms. Not to mention that Mars has little atmosphere, so any meteors that enter Mars will have little to no dissipation, and when the meteor becomes a meteorite, the impact will be catastrophic on any man made structures.
The retrograding pair meet Pluto in a sextile in the 3rd House in Virgo. This is something else that could contribute to Musk’s intelligence, seeing that Pluto is the Planet of Extremes. Pluto forming a sextile with Neptune and Jupiter both form quincunxes with Musk’s Arian Midheaven. With the help of his engineers, his advisors, and *gulp* Donald Trump; Musk must take extreme measures from his elaborate visions that often border on impractical, and take the initiative to conjure them into reality. Neptune, although retrograde, is creeping into Sagittarius, and to say the least, Musk has plans to travel very, very long distances. Can Musk defy psychics and corporeality to accomplish his goals? It seems more feasible to have the multi-billionaire continue on the goal of helping humanity by fixing the only planet that we know is habitable. But where’s the fun in that?
It’s a close call, but it appears that the Venus of Musk is teetering on the cusp of the Eleventh and Twelfth House, firmly residing in Gemini. Venus is also making a trine to Mars which is conjoining the North Node – which will be discussed later. Musk has had several women bore at least 14 known children, making him a bit of a horndog. Having Venus in Gemini makes a lot of sense here. Venus is showing strong traits in the 11th house of Community, and it seems that Musk created a whole community of his children, who I cringingly call the Muskateers! Making such an “auspicious” aspect to Mars with a trine, Musk has quite the sexual appetite with his Martian Eight House! Not only does this Martian combo make Elon Musk promiscuous in nature. It also plays a crucial role in the goals and aspirations of Musk as well.
The Nodal Analysis of Elon Musk
Let’s step back and take a moment to ponder… What is the strongest ambition of Elon Musk? To occupy and colonize Mars! Quite frankly, I am blown away to see Mars conjuncting the North Node in Aquarius. The is an out-of-quality conjunction seeing that the North Node is in the Seventh House of Relationships and Mars lies in the intimate Eight House, it is still a conjunction none-the-less. Not only does Mars lying only degrees away a metaphor for going to Mars, it indicates someone who isn’t shy taking the initiative using technology and intellect to put their nose to the grindstone and drive forward. Aquarius is the sign that rules innovation and technology. Aquarius takes us places that few dream of going. Seeing the Mars/North Node combo sextile Chiron with the 9th House, perhaps Musk, like many autistics, don't feel comfortable here on Earth. Could there be something deep inside Musk that is driving him off the planet in hopes of finding a sense of belonging on desolate Mars?
Speaking of other planets, let’s take a look at the Ruler of the North Node, as well as the modern ruler of the Water Bearer, Uranus. As aforementioned, Uranus lies in the crafty Third House. Having the Planet of Innovation in the House of Intellect should obviously point out that Musk needs to use his brains that he is gifted with to embark on these ambitions. Not only does Uranus represent using technology to heighten mankind to new limits, it is the iconoclast of the zodiac as well. Musk, along with Trump have been challenging what seem to be the new norms of society. Not long ago, Trump declared the woke movement “dead.” Having someone like Musk as his right hand man, should prove to be a competent companion to fulfil this mission. That’s if their egos are kept in check.
We can’t look at the North Node without looking at its counterpart, the South Node of the Moon. Circling back to the First House of Musk, we see that the South Node lies in gregarious Leo. The risks that Musk runs into here is pomposity and a desperate need to be in the limelight, and that appears to be what we are seeing a lot of right now. The Sun, which is the ruler of the lion, indicates how we need to shine, and show ourselves to the world. Looking at the South Node, we must look into the negative aspects of the Sun and Leo. Leo likes to be in the spotlight, it can easily become arrogant, if your ego is not kept in check. Musk bought out Twitter, and rebranded it as “X.” (Musk sure seems to have an obsession with the letter X.) Where he, and Donald Trump, often are seen making not only asses of themselves, but the United States of America as well.
Musk claims he felt free speech is in jeopardy, in result he purchased the social media outlet formally known as Twitter to keep the First Amendment alive – which I commend him for. However, it seems that his ego got as big as his bank account, and Musk will say sensational things just to be scribed in the tabloids. Leo rules the South Node, so we must look where the Sun lays in Musk’s chart. As we already discussed, Musk’s Sun is in Cancer in the Twelfth House forming a conjunction with his Rising Sign as well as expedient Mercury. This signifies a need for Musk to practice humility, and keep the needs of his fellow man in mind. Mercury represents media as well as communication and other forms of speech and intellect. Both Trump and Musk seem to have an issue keeping their words sweet and soft of communication outlets such as X. Then again, Musk can use these forms of social media to propel his Martian mission as well. There is sometimes a fine line between the North and South Node.

Well there you have it folks, there is a look at the natal chart of the richest man to ever live. To sum things up it seems that Musk is a born innovator that is meant to propel his fellow humans to new heights, but he has to keep his head on straight and avoid the pontification we are witnessing day to day. Musk must use technology to possibly be the first to get us to Mars, using the gigantic fortune he has assembled over the last few decades. Musk seemed to have started out with unadulterated motives, helping the Earth become a little greener with his electric car company, over the years, Musk has grown more smug and pompous, which is a trap that his South Node heeds.
